Identify and capitalize on opportunities as best I can while addressing risks and continuously learning.
What is the first thing you do when you wake up and what is the last thing you do before you go to bed?

What is the number one productivity killer you see and how do you stop it?
Too many long meetings. I insist that people come ready to a meeting and surround myself with good communicators.
Do you have a favorite productivity tool?
QuickBase and Freemind.
What do you do when you aren’t feeling productive or motivated?
Take a walk, go sailing.
How do you set goals for yourself and what is your top priority goal this year?
Goals change all the time. Once they are reached the bar goes higher. My top priority goal this year is to stay healthy and implement the right tools to help deal with stress.
What is the biggest mistake you’ve made that you’ll never repeat?
There are so many – one of them would be to postpone addressing something when things are not working out with an employee or a customer.
As someone who receives tons of emails everyday, what do you see in emails that makes you want to hit “delete” immediately?
Long, un-personalized emails.
Do you have a role model or a mentor that has helped you stay productive and how did you find that mentor?
Unfortunately I have no role model or mentor. I learn from a lot of people all the time and have a number of key people that I consider experts in certain areas.
What is the most powerful thing you’ve ever seen, heard, or read?
